Composer. Lyricist. 

Nathan Namsoul, baptized as Nathaniel Nnamnso Akpan, is a Natural composer and Multi-instrumentalist born on 9th July. His Father is a Maestro Tenor soloist in the Archdiocese of Lagos (Holy Cross Cathedral). His passion for music spurred him to acquire certifications with Music Society of Nigeria (MUSON) and Grade 5 and Grade 7 from the Associated Board of the Royal school of Music (ABRSM) which is Headquartered in London at the Age of 15.

 

Although Nathan is a graduate of Botany/Biotechnology with a 2:1, he has been Music Director in Anglican and Methodist Churches and presently the Parish Choirmaster of St Francis Idimu, Lagos state, Nigeria. Some of his works has been used in non-Catholic competitions, Concertos.

 

Nathan is still relatively unknown in the Catholic Community.

 

Nathan's style of music ranges from Classical contemporary to Jazz, Negro and traditional pieces. He has so many works to his name already and some piano works too.
